Summer Reading Program 2010

"Make a Splash, Read!"

All Right! Another VERY successful Summer Reading program. Everyone give themselves around of applause, a pat on the back, etc. etc. We had more people enrolled this year than ever before (410). We also had a very high attendance rate for programs - 1143 people at various events (thats 1/5 the population of Concordia!) Congratulations to all our readers and prize winners. Can't wait till next year!

Here's Thad Beach performing for the kick off program, "Flippin, Floppin, Splishn, & Splashn in Catfish County."

Here are some pictures of the After Hours Pool Party.

Does excessive splashing count as a foul?

Make A Splash Pre-School Time

Nothing like a good book.

An action shot of Waves in Kansas.

Dancin' around to some Crocodile Rock.

It's a fishing frenzy!

We even had a couple of real Pirates join us for our pirate party.

That's a fast fox in this game of duck, duck, goose - he's almost too fast for the camera.

Who knew a paper boat would float?

Make a Splash Lunch Bunch

A good story and food - who could ask for anything more?

Bowling anyone?

Sea Monsters are on the loose in the library!
